hi, wiki cafe review was started because there was nothing else of its kind. after spending a year post college travelling around the country, i realized that there was no way to tell if a coffee shop actually had good coffee or not, no one to give me advice when moving to a new city. i was always dissapointed at the weak shots, or completely out of proportion lattes i was being served, and wanted a sort of zagat for cafes. of course i could have gone to the nearest starbucks, but even though i will say there is a high level of consistency there, there isn't that high of a level of quality. and so wiki cafe review was started. a place for people to come share their experiences about cafes, so we do not need to continue re-inventing the wheel... astrx
