Cork and Beans obviously sells more than just coffee. They specialize in two of the most common vices, coffee and alcohol.

The place looks like it hasn't changed its image since the 1950's. very little decorations, and the place is small. it is in the basement of an office building right across the hall from a shoe shine place. you come in and there are labeled whole bean bins to your immediate right for purchase. following the wall, there is the counter where you can order your coffee.
on the other side of the place there are a few isles of wine bottles, and that's it. no place to sit down.

little care was taken in preparing a shot of espresso. the grinder was sitting there already full of grounds and less than a full portafilter was dosed out. the tamping job was poor.

the barista here are more of salespeople or wine drinkers than baristi. don't expect to get any latte art from this place!

one single shot is 1 dollar. for that you get a styrofome cup that has over two ounces of espresso. the espresso tasted weak and the crema was a pale vanilla, almost white which dissipated by the time the cup left the building.
