Coffee Shops for Beijing

There are some coffee shops where the espresso can be drinkable.
If you want perfect espresso, just look for the sign of Kaffa Cafe,
This is the logo of Kaffa Cafe. If you can find it where coffee is served, you will be served with the great coffee, specially the espresso and related coffee drinks.

It is the coffee shop, where I tried to adjust the water pressure and got better tastes from Illy beans. Due to the strict control from Illy, they did not allow to adjust the pressure but the espresso is really not very good. But from this example, we learnt that we can make better espresso with the Illy beans more than Illy can do for their clients. If any of you are interested in tasting their espresso, please contact me and I can show you where to find them.

It is one of the most famous coffee shops in Beijing, where most clients are students. They are using the Illy beans, but IMO, the brewing skill is not very well. For this reason, even if there are a lot of foreign students or teachers, the sale for pure espresso is not very much as you can see while standing there for a few hours.
